A shift toward home,

By October, the transition is no longer a suggestion; it is a fact. The days are visibly shorter, and the air has lost its hesitation. There is a specific kind of beauty in this—a requirement to be more intentional about where we spend our energy and how we protect our time.

This month, we are exploring 'The Texture of Boundaries.'

Lately, I’ve been thinking about the terracotta vessel. It is made from common earth, yet it is transformed by heat into something that can hold water, seeds, or light. It doesn’t just exist; it defines a space. It has a clear inside and a clear outside.

Setting a boundary is often seen as an act of closing off, but I’ve come to see it as an act of sincerity. When I say "no" to the noise that doesn’t align with my integrated routine, I am saying "yes" to the quiet I worked so hard to find. It is a quiet luxury to have a life that is contained—not by restriction, but by choice.

I am leaning into the heavier textures of this season—the matte depth of dark taupe and the grounding warmth of clay. They remind me that strength doesn't have to be cold or industrial. It can be raw, earthy, and deeply empathetic.

I hope you find the strength to define your own vessel this month.

We are finding our centre.

We are interwoven.

With sincerity,

Sheila
