There is room for the light.

I noticed the light in my home changed this morning. It’s higher, thinner, and it lingers longer on the walls. It reminded me that even the most grounded structures need to let the light in to stay "alive."

Sometimes, we become so focused on the "doing"—the planning, the manifesting, the working—that we forget to leave gaps for the light. April, for me, is about vulnerability. It’s about letting things be a little bit messy and a lot more translucent.

I’ve found that when I lower my guard just a fraction, the empathy I have for myself (and others) grows exponentially. It’s a nice reminder that the most beautiful spaces are often the ones that feel lived-in, and maybe there's some value in letting the light hit the floor without rushing to "tidy up" the scene.

With sincerity,

Sheila
